Throughout my classes, I have been able to improve my writing skills. I’ve learned how to use AP style through research papers and news stories and columns.
RESEARCH PROJECT
For my communication law class, we were to write a 10 page paper on a research topic discussed on class. I chose protecting privacy.
Press Release
For my public relations class, I chose a tourism and travel specialist to interview and wrote a press release based on her responses.
The Antelope : News Stories
For my news writing class for The Antelope, I was assigned various stories on campus news. After transcribing my interviewees' quotes, I wrote the stories to be informational to students.

For my news writing class for The Antelope, I was assigned opinion pieces which include personal experiences, beliefs and perspectives.
The Antelope : features
For my news writing class for The Antelope, I wrote some stories about campus events surrounding student life. I had the creative freedom to write them from a more feature-like perspective. Some of them included photos I captured at the events.
